Steve Arnott works using
digital photography and the extreme manipulation of original digital images
through computer graphics to produce a wholly new image. Working around the
broad themes of modernity, nature and human consciousness, Steve seeks to exploit
the space between the linear and the fractal, and artefactual and natural imagery.
Steve is a graduate in philosophy from Dundee University and lives in Inverness,
where he has previously exhibited and sold work. Steve has been an active and
well known figure on the political left in the North of Scotland over the last
10 years and is the co-ordinating editor of the Democratic Green Socialist online
magazine.
